Become a Participant

We do have a great demand for our services. We have a mix of regular participants across our sessions and various school groups. We therefore operate a waiting list system for the sessions with the most demand.

To enquire about becoming a participant with a view to accessing our services please follow the steps below.

1

1. Participant Enquiry Form

Complete a Participant Enquiry Form in full and send this to newparticipants@elisabethcurtiscentre.co.uk

We are not able to add anyone to the waiting list where the Participant Enquiry Form is provided or completed in full.

All information is confidential and will be used for RDA purposes only. Existing participants will be asked to update their form from time to time in line with GDPR regulations.

2. We'll Be In Touch

Once we have received your Participant Enquiry Form our New Participant Coordinator will process this and be in touch to acknowledge receipt and query if there is any issues.

3

3. When A Space Is Available

When a space is available on a session then a member of the Coaching Team will be  in touch to discuss next steps and invite you to an assessment ride. This allows you to meet the coach and session available and meet our amazing ponies and Volunteer Team for the first time.

From here, upon a successful assessment, you will be asked to join the ride as a participant.

Further Information

What sessions do you run?

Sessions run throughout the week during the working day with a range of mornings and afternoons. We also operate two 'out of school time' sessions of an evening and weekend.

We have a mix of session times, currently at 30 minutes with some shorter times for our non-riding sessions. For riding sessions the 30 minutes includes mounting and dismounting onto / off the pony.

How much does a session cost?

Our 30 minute sessions cost  £15 per session either for riding or non-riding. We sometimes offer private rides and these are £29 per session. Fees are paid half termly in advance for all sessions including if you are unable to make it for some sessions. If we have to cancel a session due to lack of  volunteer help,  equine health or weather for example we will credit you for the following term.
