Coach
I started as a volunteer at the Elisabeth Curtis Centre in 2015 and subsequently qualified as a Group Coach in 2018. In 2019 I retired after a 32-year teaching career in Bedfordshire schools.
I have ridden from a young age and have had many equestrian experiences with a variety of different horses. Although I do not ride any more, I still enjoy being in the company of equines and watching them either at work or in a variety of disciplines.
I currently enjoy running the Monday morning sessions, enabling me to combine my love of horses, teaching, helping participants and working alongside dedicated volunteers and the Equine Team. In January 2026, I took on the role of Bedfordshire County Chair, enabling me to meet many more participants, parents, carers and volunteers at the Centre.
